make this possible

“What would have to be true to make this possible?” I find myself asking this question often as of late. It is my way of positively seeing the world and trying to reduce the number of limitations that either I place on myself or allow others too.

I am working on changing my focus from seeing the obstacles in life to seeing the possibilities.  When faced with a problem, it is easy to see why something won’t work.  We all know that.  This is the thinking that keeps us safe and sound in our comfort zone.

It’s a hard shift to make from th
e known to possibility.    It is hard to really see what one needs to do to erase the limits that you are putting on yourself.

When I ask, “What would have to be true to make this possible?” It often switches my area of focus.  Often the big, scary, overwhelming, problem get broken down into something very simple and easy to accomplish.

Lately, I have had trouble finding time to write some blog posts.  So I have asked “What would have to be true to make this possible?”  Some ideas that I have come up with are:

1) Make my posts smaller more impactful

2) Find just 10 minutes a day to write ( again don’t make it so big and scary)

3) Find and share ideas from others

So in the spirit of what would make things possible, this is the first, hopefully of many, short blog posts.

Today as you go through your day and you are feeling stuck, take one moment and ask:

“What would have to be true to make this possible?”
